Katherine & Ted | Wedding at Zilker Botanical Garden

Katherine and Ted’s love story is one of the sweetest I’d ever heard, and they chose to celebrate at the Zilker Botanical Garden. Katherine found me through WeddingWire and told me that she and Ted both came from 30+ year marriages but had been friends the whole time. She said that they see their marriage as “a second chance at love and happiness,” and that makes my heart melt. In the reception hall, they put their honeymoon road trip on a map for everyone to see how their adventure together would start out. Everyone attending this intimate wedding walked through the gardens with Katherine and Ted to the ceremony spot, and then we all walked back up to the garden’s main building for the reception. It was a beautiful ceremony full of love from close family members and friends. Fun fact: Katherine is part owner of Peter Pan Mini Golf in Austin!
