Jess and Rorie’s wedding was so perfectly them. They got married outside at The Plant at Kyle, under trees, and then had their dinner under a tent that was decorated with beautiful flowers and pictures and postcards from their travels across the world. Their reception had some travel themes too, with a giant postcard board for guests to write letters to them. Check out their awesome engagement session too!

Christina & Femi had a beautiful spring wedding at Mercury Hall. (And their engagement session can be found here.) They chose to have an indoor ceremony and reception, and I think Mercury Hall is one of the best venues for that. Whenever I’m photographing weddings I always appreciate venues that have well thought out indoor and outdoor spaces for couples to choose from. Christina and Femi had a wonderful ceremony and a full dance floor. Everyone was taking turns being the DJ so the dancing went on all night! They also left the reception in a Maserati, which is pretty badass. Thank you to Megan the Photographer for capturing a few of the getting ready shots!

Jennifer and Andrew found my portfolio through Jennifer’s awesome coworker Chloe, whose wedding I shot in 2018. We met up at a coffee shop called Epoch Coffee in North Austin to talk details. We immediately clicked, and were so excited to talk about their wedding. I also LOVE the area they live in, so that was a topic of conversation too! They tied the knot at Saddle Creek Weddings, a gorgeous venue in the Austin area. It’s also pretty new, and it still smelled like fresh wood (one of my favorite smells). The venue features two barn-type buildings - one for a reception and one for a ceremony. The ceremony building has beautiful, large windows and ample space for the wedding party to get ready.

David and Felicia got married on a chilly day in December at the Chapel Dulcinea property. It was an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family, and a SUPER fun dance floor. Everyone was smiling the entire day, and the ceremony was full of happy tears. The cold weather didn’t stop anyone from having fun and celebrating love!

Amy and Kevin are such a cool couple. They met on Bumble, and when we first met they showed me their awesome first conversation that eventually led to their first date. (And their engagement session can be found here!) They even had me turn it into a giant poster to be displayed at their reception! They began their wedding day with a short ceremony at their local church, followed by a pre-reception at a bowling alley called Dart Bowl. They had lanes reserved for all of their guests while they waited for the reception at Gather to be set up. When everyone got to Gather, there were a couple of friends playing a song they wrote to welcome guests in. The reception venue was beautifully decorated and had a live band and a lively dance floor. They even did a paper plane exit, which is something I’ve never seen before!

Larissa and Azat got married at the beautiful Mercury Hall. Their love for each other radiated throughout the venue and all of their guests were so excited to celebrate their love. I love Mercury Hall because you can decorate the space so freely, and the way they decorated the ceremony space was my favorite by far. Not to mention their dance floor was FULL for the whole night! Thank you to Marisa Vasquez Photo for having me as the second shooter!

Maureen and Justin got married on the most gorgeous September day. I remember it not being too hot outside and there were clouds in the sky, which made their outdoor ceremony at Messina Inn so gorgeous. They got married in the lawn next to a creek, and later had their reception in a covered patio, followed by a lively dance floor under what I call twinkle lights. Thanks to Marisa Vasquez for having me as her second shooter!

As most native Austinites know, Pecan Springs Ranch is known for its beer toting donkeys. Each time I’ve photographed a wedding here, they always bring out the donkeys for a cute photo op.
Crawford and Sarah were nothing short of adorable, and their wedding was a blast to photograph. From the custom groomsmen suits with unique inner lining to the beautiful reception decorations, this wedding was one for the books.

I've known Kim for a few years now, so I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her wedding at the beautiful Woodlands Country Club in Houston. I got to check out the venue when I photographed her bridals back in April. She and Nic are so crazy about each other and they're both really goofy, so this made for some great portraits of them! Luckily the country club wasn't too crowded on the day of the wedding, so we got to use a lot of different green spaces around the golf course. Their wedding was an absolute blast! They had Houston Astros themed cookies around the cake (Go Astros!) and the dance floor was full all night long. They also had a glass chicken they would drink out of, which was a huge hilarious inside joke between their wedding party members. It couldn't have been a more perfect day!

Sarah and Kerry got married at the gorgeous Rancho Mirando in Fischer, Texas. I actually got to photograph at this venue twice in May, and each time did not disappoint! The day was very relaxed, and it was still cool enough outside to leave all of the doors and windows open in the reception hall. The ceremony was in a gorgeous field overlooking the hill country, and when we brought the couple back out during sunset for more pictures, the sun hit everything perfectly. They also got married on May 5, so they had Cinco de Mayo themed elements throughout their wedding!

I first met Chloe at a coffeeshop called Flightpath in Austin, when she was looking for a wedding photographer. We hit it off immediately, and I absolutely loved getting to photograph her bridals too! This was my first time photographing at The Lookout, and it was such a gorgeous spot! Every detail that went into planning this wedding was perfect. They had the cutest details and decorations all throughout the venue, and the venue itself had a diverse range of spots to photograph Chloe & Garrett. Also, they had P. TERRY'S AND EAST SIDE KING CATER. Are you kidding?! Those are in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Austin! But I typically get very excited about food generally, lol!

Annie and Ben had a sweet, intimate wedding at Gruene Estate, just outside of New Braunfels, Texas. I've been dying to photograph a wedding at this gorgeous venue, and the weather was so perfect for it! It was starting to get a little warm outside, but this outdoor space has plenty of coverage, so there's no harsh light on anyone. Down a small dirt trail from this iconic chapel is the reception hall, which is also open air and gorgeous. There were tons of flowers in bloom lining the wooden space, and when the sun set candles were lit on all of the tables, which fit perfectly with their vibe of the day. Thanks to Megan the Photographer for having me!

ChaLyce & Gibson's wedding was absolutely elegant. Their wedding was a black tie affair, beginning at the Central Christian Church in Austin, and ending with the reception at the Austin Club downtown. Gibson is Samoan, so there were various events and decorations intertwined from the Samoan culture throughout the wedding and the reception. Gibson is also heavily decorated, and a lot of his groomsmen were from the military as well. (Thank you all for your service!)

Ann & Chris got married at Villa Antonia on a gorgeous day in April. It was my first time photographing this venue and it's easily one of my favorites! The architecture embodies a villa perfectly and there are so many amazing spots for photo opportunities! Chris & Ann were so sweet and even choreographed a dance together at the reception. I can't wait to photograph here again! (Thanks to Megan the Photographer for having me!)

This was actually my first time photographing at Camp Lucy (and I've been in the Austin area for almost 5 years!) and I can absolutely see why there's so much hype about it. We shot on an absolutely gorgeous day, and the trees completely shaded the ceremony spot so the Texas sun didn't make us too warm. Nick and Caylie were the absolute sweetest, and their wedding was absolutely wonderful. Oh, and their dogs Little Bit & Shiloh were the most adorable ring bearers. (Hint of advice: including your dogs in your wedding is ALWAYS a good idea!)
