Brittany & Kyle got married at the wonderful Pecan Springs Ranch on a chilly day in January. We don't get a lot of days with good weather in Texas, so the day was already off to a great start. I love photographing at this venue because it's so well designed, but I also love the fact that they bring donkeys out during cocktail hour. The reception was beautifully decorated; I seriously couldn't stop photographing it. (It's one of my favorite things to photograph, besides the couple!) Also, I TOTALLY promote couples getting a donut wall for dessert. It's a great alternative for people who may not be into cake! I had at least two during the reception!

Laura & Bryant got married at one of the coolest spots in Houston, Avant Garden. I've been going to Avant Garden since I was in high school, over 7 long years ago. It's very cozy and has a gorgeous outdoor spot, which is where the wedding was held. It was a chilly day, but the weather was perfect for shooting outside. We took group portraits at the Cullen Sculpture Garden near the museum district, and more at the La Colombe D'or hotel they were staying in. They also had an AWESOME taco truck for dinner.

Jose & Jamie live in Chile, but got married at Pecan Grove, conveniently located right next to the legendary Salt Lick BBQ, so all of their friends and family could join them in celebrating their big day. It was a little cloudy, but that is honestly my favorite type of weather. After the ceremony, the sun decided to pop out for a perfect portrait session of the newlyweds. (And a shoutout to Megan the Photographer for asking me to be her second shooter for this wedding!)

Richard and Ramya had a gorgeous Indian wedding at The Terrace Club in Austin, Texas. It was my first time photographing an Indian wedding, and I was so thrilled to be part of it. I learned so much in a short amount of time and it was an absolute blast!
