Brandon and Rachel live in my hometown of Houston, Texas. They first contacted me when they saw The Inn at Wild Rose Hall's Facebook post about one of my previous weddings I photographed at their venue. I was thrilled to be able to photograph their wedding because I hadn't been to Wild Rose Hall in so long! It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding with even more perfect weather. It was also the day before my birthday, so it was a great way to start off my birthday weekend!
I loved Brandon and Rachel's florals, colors, and classic fairytale themed centerpieces. We also got the chance to feed some horses on the property, and I captured a pretty perfect moment of the whole ordeal! Guests danced the night away and made a giant line (probably the biggest I've ever photographed) of sparklers for their special exit. Pretty cool!
Check out Joyful Details' amazing blog post about their day!
Christine and Jonathan are dear friends of mine. I lived with Christine in college and Jonathan visited a lot, so I got to know these two love birds very quickly. They were always acting so goofy and going on adventures together. When they decided to get married at Eberly Ranch, I knew it was a place that would fit them perfectly. Eberly Ranch has tons of animals, including zebras, horses, and donkeys. After the wedding we all just drove around *trying* to pet the animals that would get near us. It was amazing! I feel like I also have to mention that this was the coolest day in September (usually it's still pretty hot in Texas), and it felt absolutely perfect outside!
Tabitha & Andrew were such goofballs, and their wedding party fit them perfectly! They got married surrounded by their closest friends and family at Cricket Hill Ranch under big, beautiful trees. Their entire wedding went so smoothly, and each aspect of it embodied them as a couple. Andrew is Jewish, so during the ceremony he broke the glass by stomping on it, followed by cheerful "MOZEL TOV!" from the crowd. They also danced the hora(h) during their reception, which is one of my favorite things to photograph at a wedding! I got caught right in the middle of it, so I was actually dancing with everyone in the circle, clicking my shutter button as fast as I could. It was so much fun!
